Oil change shops dont know how to reset the oil life monitor system. Or dont do it consistantly. This should be in your manual as well:
1) Put the ignition to "Run" (engine not running)
2) Floor and release the accellerator pedal 3X within 5sec. Not too fast, not too slow, Just a steady, full range of motion with in the 5sec.
3) The change
[COLOR=green ! important][COLOR=green ! important]engine [COLOR=green ! important]oil[/color][/color][/color] icon on the dash will *flash* to indicate the system has been reset.
Done!
