I would guess if you saw it on the road, it would be a replica. Shelby made less than a thousand total cars. Many did not survive, leaving only hundreds.
In my life (I'm 46), I have only seen 6.
- Two were at the Portland Historic Races in 2006.
- One was at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas in 2007.
- Three at the Shelby American Factory in Las Vegas in 2004.
That's it. I have never seen one on the road. I know they exist, but if you're lucky enough to have seen a "real" one, you're a lucky guy.
