i had an idea for my SUV, but never went through with it. i was thinking about putting some yellow LEDs on the sides of my step rail - similar to what semi trucks have.
similar to those on the side of the truck, but on my step rails and, of course, proportionately smaller.
if you don't have step rails, you could try just mounting some on your side skirts
