dude, the best way to get into the racing scene is to just go out cruisin, and make friends. it takes time to get into the hardcore scene, because it's usually a tight knit group. just go out cruisin along the main strips, talk to people, get friendly, show interest, and tell em ya wanna run with their group. the great thing about racing is it's really easy to make good friends because everyone has the common thread of a love and passion for cars and speed. it's an underground brotherhood so to speak. good luck!
