well I don't know for sure but I would assume that they would not be compatible

They are not as the previous poster listed both OBD1 vehicles, the 93 is OBD0 and the 95 is OBD1.

Second the 92 and 93 gs-r is a completelty different car, having a B17 and not the B18c engine. The B17a was based off of honda's B16a3 therefore it has B16 block, B16 head , just different internals. The B18c is a differnet engine, same block but different head entirely., and different internals.

I don't know about the distributor, but I'm guessing no.

Anyway why not use your head and go to the autoparts store you got your price from and ask them how much for a 93 distributor then ask them to cross the part number to see if it is in fact the same number.
