I've had an aftermarket radio in my car once before but got rid of it. And when I had it I was never told that my air bags would be disabled if I didn't use the "smart" harness.
So I've run into this little ordeal, I'm being told that now and I'm wondering if this is actually true? I went to to an audio shop where he read everything to me and it didn't mention anything about the airbags but one guy at best buy & car toys told me this was the deal. My factory radio has already been taken out and there is no warnings that my air bags have been turned off. If anyone has an answer or suggestion for me I would really appreciate it.
