92+ Bonnevilles have had two engine choices: a 3.8L V6 and a supercharged 3.8L V6. That's it.

There are two versions of the normal 3.8L: the L27 (170hp) and L36 (205hp). They were never available at the same. The L27 went from 91-94 and the L36 from '95 to present.

If you have a '94, and it is not supercharged, then you have the L27. On the fuel rail cover it will say "3800 Tuned Port Injection". If by chance you have a '95+ Bonneville with an L36, than the FRC will say "3800 Series II".
