HAHAH. Thanks. Yeah I did do a 180, didn't I? Made the biggest jump possible really as the Lotus is my dream car and, to me, is in a class all it's own. I ended up selling the 1996 Eclipse GSX but I still have the 1992 Talon Tsi AWD. If you want to see the saga of the buying experience I have that on my site.

You will find most of the details there. Basically I had to drive from NJ to VA for the car, but it was absolutely worth it. It is a 1994 Esprit S4. I paid $29000 for her. She had 54,000 miles and has all of the major maintenance done - clutch, timing belt, HG, tires, front brakes, chargecooler pump, etc. The PO had put close to $11000 in parts and labor into the car over the last year. He bought it a year ago with some problems at a cheap price and addressed them all (not so cheap), but unfortunately had to sell due to a divorce. At first the extent of the maintenance he had to do worried me some, but once I saw the car and did my complete check, all my worries went away. Car runs like a champ and has no real issues. Only thing it needs now is the temp control cable replaced (which I now have so I just have to set time aside to put it in) and get the AC recharged. I changed the rear brakes, have the SS clutch line to put on and just installed the high TQ chip. Car is just amazing. I still cannot believe I own my dream car.
