The "official" factory rating is 375 hp, but it actually made more.
Dave, I have that same article from "Musclecars" magazine, written by Roger Huntington, a long-time auto journalist.
The list of actual horsepower does seem to be quite accurate. You just could not trust the factory ratings... for instance, the Ford 390 and 428 both rated at 335 hp? I don't think so!
The 425-hp rating for the Hemi was also a joke!
