Even then, the L82 is a dog compared to more modern setups, like a vortec kit. With the money you spent converting to an L82 setup, you would be far better off rebuilding and going to a higher compression setup or even getting a crate engine.  |
the Vortec heads work pretty good with a L-82 spec cam
