Thanks for write up. After some work, apparently my ignition starter switch was causing my climate control module to go out of whack.
However, since I have the module on hand, and my the one in my vehicle has a few buttons that have dimmed out, can someone point out the screws that need to be removed so I can get the panel trim off. The only ones I can locate are the ones beneath the "traction control" button. From the write up by bozr, there's supposed to be some beneath the ashtray but I can't seem to locate any. Any tips or pics would ba appreciated.
