This will take a brilliant brain to solve!! While swapping out the crankshaft position sensor on my kids 95 neon, after spending 2 hrs loosening the bolt which the guy before me had so conveniently rounded off for me. I use a pair of pliers to gently turn and pull the sensor out and the S.O.B. snaps off flush with the engine block! If I push in it falls into the crankcase, and it DOES move. I'm thinking super glue? or windshield adhesive? a screw ? Tried a heated awl to maybe to sink it in from the side and pry it out to no avail, the material in the sensor is somewhat heat resistant.
ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
