The Check engine could be an EGR error at highway speed. EGR valve or EGR tubes clogged.
Pull the CEL codes follow this linkhttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/60332

Pull the AT codes; follow this link.

Then ;
How to interprit the AT codes:

There are going to be a series of flashes..... The flash that is the longest is the code that you are concerned with...
For instance code 5 would look like this -- -- -- -- ---------- -- -- -- being that the 5th flash is the longest.. the light wil blink a total of 12 times. Code readouts
1. Revolution sensor
2. Vehicle speed sensor
3. Throttle position sensor
4. Shift solenoid A
5. Shift solenoid B
6. Overrun clutch solenoid
7. Torque converter clutch solenoid
8. Fluid temp sensor or AT control unit powersource malfuntion
9. Engine speed signal
10. Turbine revolution sensor
11. Line pressure solenoid
12. Engine control circuit
