Re: 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit 2.5L Manual 5

Yes! The VW Rabbit. Awesome little cars. Reliable little cars that cannot get up to 80 miles an hour (128km per hour). Now the thing that a lot of people see in this car is.. Its small, engine is basic, no weird computers, etc. Its basic in the eyes of someone who may not know a crazy amount about these little cars. The one thing I have to give to you about the car is don't do it. I have had buddies who bought these cars and ran them to the ground. Ready for a quick fix to get them running again isn't as easy as you think. These little cars depend of specialty tools. Sometimes specialty sockets, wrenches, extensions, etc. These cars unless you're from Germany or went to school to specifically work on VW, Audi, BMW, Mini, etc. Are not easy to work on. If its been a long life dream on owner such a mystical little car and you have time in your schedule to watch endless hours for maintenance, researching for days on what are common failures for these little cars, and how to prevent and repair these problems. If you got the time, money, and effort go for it! If not I'd stay away. Its a lot to take in as German stuff can be like rocket brain surgery for guys like me. Good luck with it. Not trying to be a Debby downer, but trying to help a guy out!
