You're making a good professional start to this venerable kit. My advice would be to take care of the spacing of the front wheels, it makes or breaks the look of the finished model.
The rear arches are correct for certain tarmac-spec versions of the "Works" Mk2s, but not all so check your references. Also if you really want to get this "correct" you need to do serious surgery on the rear suspension and floor pan. Good luck, I'm watching with interest!
