Alfa Romeo 149 Coupe & Roadster drawings

Hi I'm new here. Let me introduce myself by posting some of my drawings. This particular one got me reconsidered for admission to the Industrial Design course in my college despite failing it in the entrance exam and geting accepted to architecture. A bulk of the inspiration came from Bertone and Giugiaro's Alfas. From the modern, Brera and the 159, to the pocket GT Alfas of the 60's and 70's like the 1600, the Giulia, the Giulietta and the GTA/GTV. The thin slit tailights pay homage to Bertone's considerable efforts. However, it is all tempered by anchoring certain elements of the design to much older design reference point, one that established Alfa's design langauge and overall look. Namely, the 8C 2900 Mille Miglia, hinted at in the grille (notice the lower portion) and the greenhouse profile. So without further "designer speak", Enjoy.

Let me add the preliminary sketch for comparison and contrast.

A bit of rendering and the grille in detail.
