Re: No Crank!

[quote=Mexico86;7206339]i've been recently experiencing a poor battery but i took my sweet time getting a new one, so I had to boost the truck a few times had some long cranks in the colder weather etc. I'm wondering if I could have burnt out my starter as I have replaced the battery and when I went to start the truck (2 days in -20C since it last ran) it still did the slow crank with the new battery! I had a friend come and boost me then it didn't crank and a quiet click sound, softer click than a previous starter problem with older truck. 04 silverado is what I have now. I've checked starter relays and fuses.[quote]

Bad starter . cranked it too long with bad battery or bad connections . boost truck what does that mean ? jump start by another vehicle or a high powered electrical jump starting tool.. one that applies higher volts ?
