I emailed Coolerman with the same question and he said that the rubber inserts are still removeable. The lights are only attached to the plastic part. My main concern was the situaion where you pull up your bottle and the rubber insert comes with it. I had visions of that happening and the light getting ripped from the wiring!
I'm happy to say that wouldn't be the case though!
One place I want to wire a freaking light is in the glovebox! Coolerman???
