Re: Calling all Slant six owners.....or had been's..

Too bad you're not local to me, channel7, I do know where there's a 331 hemi laying that's been to a machine shop and is mostly ther (331 is a small block)

Oh well, the darn things not mine anyway (i did work on it though).

OK,
Here's the current project:

225 slant six block
custom made 24 valve head.
2 turbos
MPI fuel injection from 3.3L mitsu (caravan) motor
A904 transmission
3.55 ratio 8 3/4
2 1/2" exhaust
Air conditioning intact

in a '69 Dart GT.
When it's finished, I'll drive it every other day, but right now the body and interior (stock) are going pretty slow. Drive train is 90% though (exhaust clearance troubles...)

I have 3 other slant sixes (stock supers), all with around 250K on them.
I just gave up the V8 mopar scene one day about 19 years ago.

And to trailduster79--
I put a slant in a '76 4x4 trailduster with a 4 speed and you won't believe how well it did, at 17 MPG too! (not the most powerfull beast, but more than I hoped for!)
