Just today I began to have problems with my transmission. The problem is that every time that it tries to go into 3rd gear it kind of studders and has trouble going into gear. Could changin the trans fluid help with this problem or do I need to get a new transmission? Also what kind of fluid do I get, because I have heard about other people changing there trans fluid and did not use the stuff you get from the dealer and a year or so later the trans failed and had to be repaired or replaced. It is a 94 Galant ES with automatic transmission and 192K miles.
