It could be nothing it could be something. If the car is running "right" then I wouldn't worry about it so much. You can purchase an OBD2 scanner at quite a few places. Or you can go to a dealer and pay for them to scan it. I (and keep in mind that this is me and my money/cars we're talking about) never worried much about check engine lights when the car was running right. I recently chased a problem for a week...come to find out it was a hose that came off in the car. You can clear the light by disconnecting your battery (you will lose your radio presets too) and see if it comes back....or have the code scanned.

I personally (like I did) would get an OBD2 scanner. It comes in handy to have and it'll pay for itself after a few check engine lights.
