Okay, there's no actual rumor of this happening, but with all the remakes of vintage cars going on, I would love Toyota to bring back to 2000GT. I definitely think it has potential to do well, even here in the States, especially as a performance oriented car for around 20k. Here's why; as a performance oriented car, it's only real competition would be the Mustang, which it could easily beat in handing and fuel economy, what with it being Toyota and all. People are going for smaller, more lightweight cars now, but most are geared only towards fuel economy and performance is sacrificed for most of those cars. The only real drawback is that it's a 2-seater while most cars like it would be sedans. It could do better upmarket, where it would be more like the 350Z or RX-8, but there you'd have tougher competition.
Allright, guys, am I wrong? I would just love to see a concept based on it. What cars do you think should be brought back?
