well, here is the dealio...these heads have the casting number for the 71 -72 LT1 corvette engine...but I got them off an ol' Chris Craft 327, they are in beautiful shape and no doubt have somewhat low hours of use consider it was a boat motor. I'm not all too familiar with guide plates..but to be honest, I didn't see anything that would even represent a guide plate...so that is the reason for my question..
off the top of my head, i believe the casting was 3973487...anyway suggestions to see if they are actually screw in studs...or should you be able to tell visually?
any thoughts?
