Assuming tires in Canada are similar to those sold in the US, there should be a
DOT date code that represents the calendar week and year of manufacture. The general consensus is tires should be replaced every 6-10 years, regardless of wear. One factor in the difference between 6 years and 10 years will be what percentage of the tire's life was spent outdoors, exposed to UV.
