In reply to maxwedge...Yes I can't disagree with the logic there you present...Sounds like pressure control selenoid to me...a common problem in these impala's...but w/o code or symptoms...kind a stuck for now...I do have drive train warranty left...trying to be proactive...but just have to wait. Hard to do when you like your car!!
