Wondering if anyone out there might be able to help with a problem relating to a 1997 528i AUTO.
I have noticed in the past few weeks that the ABS and ASC lights stay on after starting the car, pressing the ASC switch does not switch the light off and the ABS light stays on. This has been happening at least once a week. and usually after the car has been driven (appox. 15miles) and then parked for a period of time(anywhere from 2 hrs to 8hrs).
I have switched the car off and "pumped" the brake pedal a few times and then started the car (I do this a couple of times) and the ABS & ASC lights switch off along with all the other warning lights on the dash. This is really annoying, has anyone out there experienced the same problem and does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it.
