Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)

As annouced a couple of days ago, here are my facts/thoughts on the Pischetsrieder crash:

Late Sunday afternoon on the 28th. of May 1995 Pischetsrieder crashed with a F1 near Rosenheim in Bavaria, Germany. The car he crashed was originally purchased by Wolfgang Reitzle, at that time head of BMW’s technical department, for demonstration purposes! So one can say, that this car was most likely owned by the factory and not by a private person.
As BMW now owns #047 for the same purpose, one can assume that this crashed F1 was indeed a total write-off! Furthermore it is not unlikely that this car was one of the early F1's (006/010?), as BMW played a major role in the whole McLaren F1 project!
Btw, I think that the plate is a temporary one as the numbers are red to me...
