Hey all. This is my first post here. I don't know that any of you mind one way or the other, but it seemed like good taste to mention it.
I have a 1999 Ford Taurus. The rim on a front tire somehow became bent. I got it fixed, no sweat. I take that back. It was something of a hassle. The aluminum 99 model was really hard to track down. But I'm getting away from the point.
The mechanic told me I should keep the bent rim, that I could sell it since it was aluminum . Does this sound credible to anyone? If so, where exactly would I go to sell it? I understand there's no advertising here; that's not what I'm doing. Just looking for advice on how to go about this. And wondering if anyone knows how much I could potentially get, I guess. But that may be impossible to answer online.
Thanks for any help you can offer!
