Hi. I actually don't really like getting messages. I do appreciate your high opinion of me, but to be honest there are others whose knowledge is much more extensive than my own. Now, don't take this personally, but I don't help people that abandon their own. What I mean by that is that you bought a car from Japan, which hurt our own economy (the majority of AF users are from America, I'll assume you are). You can put some money back into our economy now, and balance that out a little bit. I really do wish you the best in your endeavor, but I won't offer any help. Sorry.

Hello, hope you don't mind getting messages but you seem to be one of the most knowledgeable people in the forums. I posted a a couple threads and didn't get any responses. I have a 95 Nissan Sentra 1.6L DOHC. The car runs great, no check engine is on. Car switches gears fine going down the road, runs fine while accelerating. However, whenever letting off the gas to coast, the needle drops down to around 1300, jumps to around 1800, back and forth back and forth, until giving it a little gas again. I was told that it may be the tps, which I thought also but then saw that my manual says any fault with it will set a code, but the person told me that they don't always set a code and it could still be bad. I just thought I would try to get some more input before spending a little over 60 on a new tps if it could be something else.
