bsansa, your Oct '08 post on the intrigue air pump system was very useful: " . . . passenger side solenoid - internal leak . . . Removing and plugging the vacuum line allowed more vacuum on the driver side solenoid which opened the valve."
After 2 yrs of playing around with this and trying to get the light off long enough to pass inspection , disconnecting/plugging the pass side vac line seems to have solved my check engine light / active PCM test issue as well.
