GTP, I posted last night about my daughter's brakes and haven't had any input. Would you mind giving it a look? I'm really lost. Thanks a ton!

I am not certain where the Mass Air Flow Sensor is on your car but if you can locate it unplug the sensor and see what happens. If the issue goes away then you will need to replace the sensor. They are expensive and I don't recommend the Cardone reman units.

The other issue that you may have is with a failure of the torque control clutch to unlock. You didn't say when this issue happens but if it happens after you have the car warmed up and when you come to a stop then that may be your issues. The next time it happens try kicking the tranny into neutral before it stalls and see what happens.

I hope this helps. Let me know what happens!

Yes, it should be a direct conversion without any complications. I recommend that you change the oil pan gasket and the water pump while you have the engine out. It is much easier to do now than to do it with the engine in the car. Good Luck!
