Hey thanks for your help, can i test the wire with the starter out of the vehicle? Im not sure if I can get a proper reading without the ground wire and ignition wires in place. I was having the starter checked and haven't had time to take it to the generator shop yet. I'm sure that will tell me something. And on a further note the bendix seems caught in the flywheel and unable to turn. So I'm sure it's engaging. If I give it a while sometimes the bendix might come loose and the starter clicks still when I turn the key. I think highly unlikely the flywheel is stuck cause the engine isn't that old and hasn't been put under any real stress. But I'm thinking perhaps it may not be getting the power it needs to turn it over. Any thoughts?
