needhelp! with 95 thunderbird with a lot of white smoke coming from exhaust.

hello. i started my thunderbird a few days ago and as i was driving i noticed a giant cloud of smoke coming from the exhaust. i checked all of my levels and the transmission fluid seems to be high, oil level was about an inch and ahalf over the FULL area, and the coolant/anitfreeze was also closer to the hot level then the cold (checked everything while cool). a few nights before this happened the cars heat gauge was in the red for a second or two and then i eased on the brake and went slower and it went back down to normal. also now the engine is shaking more then it ever did before. if anyone has a explanation and possibly a solution to the problem that would be a giant help. thank you.

3.8 head changes. help?

I bought a bunch of 3.8 stuff today. A block from 1991(?) and heads from 1996, along with two intakes (1992 and 1996) and a 1992 plunum.
I have an 89 tbird with the 3.8, and the valve springs and valves look different. The ones on the 96 head are cone shaped, and my 89's are straight. Im wondering if the newer heads will fit (and function) on an "older" block.
Anyone ever try this?

Ac blowing hot air.

hi guys,

so my problem is with my AC. I have a 97 T-bird. with the 4.6l V8 and it has around 145,xxx. miles.

So the AC doesn't blow cold air. only hot. ive tried recharging the r32 Refrigerant and that was no help. I looked at the AC pump where its connected to the drive belt and the belt spins but the pump seems not to. I know where the pump is but I'm not sure where to look electrical wise. and is there any thing else that i may be missing. Also when the engine was off i could freely spin the pump by the three circular "prongs" on the out side of what I believe to be the AC Pump Clutch.

any help is much appreciated! thanks guys.
