We just moved from San Francisco to Irving and need to purchase a vehicle for our family. We're looking at Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, and Honda CR-V. Looking to buy 2005-07 year models.

1. Any recommendations on good used car dealers within the DFW area ? For no BS customer service, I don't mind driving about 30-40 miles.

2. Do any of these dealers
a. allow you to take the car to a mechanic to have it checked ?
b. provide extended warranty

3. Any recommendations on dependable car mechanics in and around the Irving and nearby areas ?
