3.3 V6 no spark on first coil

Sorry it's a lenghty post.

I have a 91 Cutlas Ciera with the 3300 3.3 V6. I lent this car to my sister because her husband wrecked hers. I got the car from an old woman who barely drove as a swap for painting her house. The car ran great when I got it and had 90000 miles on it. While my sis and her hubby used it the Hamonic balancer went bad. They didn't have any money so I bought a new balancer. He took the balancer off but didn't feel like putting the new one back. I visted them and checked the car. He had used a crow bar and bent the belt pully, breaking a part of the rim off and cracked the ignition module plastic. So, being pissed off with their additude of not giving a rats ass about it, I pulled it back to my house. Since I worked a lot, a mechanic that my mom knows put the new balancer on but didn't have the keys at the time to test it.

I tried to start it and it would not run. I took my spark plug tester and placed it on the first coil and got no spark. On the second coil it did light up, and it lit up on the third coil. My brother had some extra coils so I tried them in place of the first coil. None of them showed any spark.

My dad took the ignition coil to O'Reilys or Autozone and they tested it and said that it was good.

So, with that history, would the ignition module be bad if the lower coils show spark?

Also, would the crank sensor cause the first coil not to fire but fire the other two? I do not know if he bent that too when prying the balancer off.

It's behind a metal structural panel of the door. I even have the GM Shop Manual for it and I Can't figure it out. They say to drill out some rivets but the rivets I see have been put in from the inside or the other side of what I can see. I see some bolts and I guess I could cut the rivets off with a Dremel tool. They say to tape the window in the up position. Does any of this sound familiar to anybody reading? Sure could use some help.

Hi all- Ok now I have another problem. When driving down the highway it sounds and feels like you are driving over rumble strips. It will be like this for a couple of miles and then be smooth. Then it will start over again. I thought CV joints at first but the hen says it steers fine. It also sounds like it could be a wheel bearing but not sure. Any suggestions?

92 Cutlass Supreme...will lose control of climate control and heat just kicks

After driving for a few miles, highway or city streets, the electronic climate control will be stuck at whatever it was on (whether it be OFF or running) and the heat will just blow out whenever it was OFF and I can't shut it off. Was not doing this til I took a gander at the dash wires...the old owner cut the radio wires instead of buying a harness (fucking piece of shit) so it's a big jumble in there. I've already ran through replacing quite a few fuses because messing with those wires blew them.

What can I do to figure out what is causing my loss of control over the climate control?

Hi all- The hen took the car to town today to see the grandkid. Started fine and then when she went to leave.. nothing. The dash lights come on, it chimes but when she turned the key nothing. Not even a click. New battery, alternator light never came on. All fuses ok but didnt check under the hood. Is there a main relay that might have went out? How about the ground on the starter? Did have a problem with the door locks before but pulled the fuse to disable the motor. Someone told me there is a chip in the keys in this car that might have gone out somehow. Does anybody have any other ideas as to what might be wrong?

Have 92 Cutlass International that is draining the battery. Have narrowed down the fuse that allows the drain , but cant locate the component causing it. If I pull the fuse marked "elec" the battery will stay up. I pulled the wiring diagram from Mitchell and removed the radio and pass restraint timer box and still have same problem. The owne states it has a new alternator and I have had the charging system tested to find everything is working properly. If the fuse is left in it sometimes discharges while running and drains sometimes when not running. The owners have had this carto other shops and still have the same problems. Left car with me in hopes of getting lucky. There is no rush on getting it fixed but would like to see it eventually fixed. I am about to give up myself and its been a side project waiting for fresh ideas for me fo about 2 months now. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

BTW it has a 3.4 liter w/auto trans

I have a 1991 Cutlass Cruiser SL Station Wagon with a 3.3L V6, and 49,000miles on it.

When sitting in park in my garage the car seems to be struggling to find an idle RPM. I just got back my mechanic and he thought it was the IAC, so I replaced it and the problem still exists. Also, when shifting from park to reverse, or from reverse to drive the RPM's drop drastically almost stalling the car out. In fact, this morning after starting the car I shifted from park to reverse and it stalled.

If I haven't provided enough specific information please let me know, I'm new to GM cars and this forum.

Thank you very much.

3.3L Engine and 4T60 Transmission with just shy of 184,000 miles on both.

When I come to a stop after running the car over 40-45MPH the transmission will disengage and will appear to stay in neutral until I shift into another gear and then back into OD. I do not think the shift lever is at fault because if I wait a few seconds it will engage on it's own. This issue seems to happen more often when I drive in shorts bursts.

Ex: A short (1-2 mile) drive on the freeway will trigger it almost every time but a 5+ mile trip seldom will.

Aside from a few minor repairs this car has been running fine for years but this is now a developing issue. I first encountered this issue a few years ago but it happened very seldom.

The only related repair would be a replacement of the transmission cooling lines, but this issue occurred before I replaced them and did not get any worse after.

I just purchased a cheapo junker 1989 cutlass supreme Int. series for $200 just a project car to fix up and sell, i replaced everything almost I can think of and the car is running in great shape, except the rear brakes. I can not get fluid to them! the front brakes I bleed and they work perfect, and the last thing I want to do is replace the master cylinder So can you guys give me some ideas of what could be wrong. When I looked at the back brakes the parking brake (which is broke) was hung up so I unlocked the back wheels manually, and im guessing since the parking brake says "pump to set" that it is hydraulic? could it have broke while it was set on and kept valves closed in the master cylinder not allowing fluid to move into the cables? I know the brake lines are not blocked seeing that I just replaced them, I am not sure the condition of the equalizer but I know fluid is not getting back there.... any help would be apprecietad thanks!
