I have a 1985 190e mercedes benz 2.3L gasoline. I have found it imposible to find aftermarket upgrades for this motor and parts are getting rare as well. I have been looking into the idea of swapping out the 2.3 for a newer model 230c kompressor motor with the super charger. Has anyone done this? Also would it be better to rebuild the 2.3 and put a turbo on it or go with the 230c motor?
