Weird Oil Leak

Hello all,

I am new to the Nissan section of the forum. I have a 2004 pathfinder LE. Hopefully there will be someone who can help with this issue. I noticed an oil leak on the garage floor where the car parks. The leak in not from the engine section but under the passenger door directly under the B pillar. Upon inspection there is a large electical network with many connections above a heat shield near the frame. Also, this is the area where the brake and fuel lines travel along the frame rail back to front. I see no transmission lines. I have inspected all lines. No smell of fuel. No sign of brake fluid. But noticed engine oil on the top of the heat shield. Upon further inspection the oil appears to be coming from one of the elctrical connections. Last connection towards the rear of the car. Is it possible the oil is traveling along the inside of the wire insulation and the connection is possibly connected to an oil sensor on the motor which is actually the source of the leak.

Any help would be appreciated..

Hi All,

Was driving today and my Windows, Lights, Turn Signal Lights, Wipers and locks stop working. My Pathfinder already has 103 K miles but runs like new. Lots of travel on it.

I checked most of the Fuses and there all all working.

Since I no longer have a warranty need some HELP from someone who has experience this same problem.

When I start the Engine I see the right Signal Indicator in the panel Bling once and no more.

Also withthe engine off I push the Hazard lights swith and the Blink once but no light blink outside the Vehicle.

The Radio, Air Brake and Reverse lights work perfect Buthe Inside Cabin lights also are dead.

When my 1991 pathfinder warms up it starts sputtering when driving it. When its cold it doesnt do it as bad. I have taken it to a mechanic and they havent found anything wrong with it. If anyone has any ideas what it could be that would be awesome. its a 1991 xe with a 5-speed tranny.

99.5 Pathfinder SE Auto Keyless Entry disengaged

Hi People,
I just bought a used 99.5 Pathfinder SE. The keyless entry is not working. The dealer said it is disengaged from the bottom of the truck. The remote seems to function fine as when I press any key, the red light comes on. I can take it to a car audio place where they will rip me off to (hopefully) fix a small thing. Any one aware how to do this or has any experience with this. Im not sure, it has a remote starter or not but there is a small thing behind the rear view mirror on the windshield with two small pokes on both sides. Its like this:
                      ___________
          _______| |_________
                     |___________|

Thanks for reading!:)
