fog lights not working in one position

I just got a ZX3 and the fog lights only work when I have the headlights on and they DO NOT work when the switch is in the parking/running light position although the indicator on the dash says they are on. Is this a bad switch or should I look somewhere else first??

I have a 2001 ford focus zx3 hatch back. I was told there is a fuel cut off switch located either in the glove box or the driver side rear panel by the brake light. I am unable to find such reset switch. Any help in finding this switch would be very helpful.

It goes on every 4 or 5 months as a result of my radiator....the technitian says I might need a new thermostat, but can not guarantee that will resolve the issue with the light coming on....all I know is I pay over $100 a pop....3 times now....and they have reset the check engine light so that it is no longer lit....any suggestions? thanks:wink:

hi,i originally posted a problem back in sept. about a rough idle i was having with my 2.0 spi engine.i would like to thank the two guys who took the time to respond to my post.the problem wasn't with the pcv valve or a rotted hose etc.itook the car to my local fastlane store.the mechanic went online with mitchell on demand and discovered ford has a tsb out on this issue.it concerns engines with over 100,000km having problems with exhaust valve sealing in the cylinder head.the fix according to ford is to replace the head.my car has only 87000km and is used mostly around town so the tech suggested running some intake cleaner through the manifold and for once luck was on my side because the idle smoothed right out.i hope this helps somebody out.

My remote on my key....and the trunk release in the car on the dash does not open the luggage compartment either....Ford says they have no idea what's wrong, but we could start looking at $119 plus....plus the cost to fix it.....could it be just a fuse, considering my rear defroster quit working around the same time . What I can't understand from Ford is ....Is this the first time in these vehicles that this has happened too....I think not:runaround:

I was driving my 03 focus when it suddenly died after going around the corner. My first thought was that I tripped the intertia switch. Checked that and it was good. I'm getting fuel and spark. For some reason when the engine is cranked, instead of drawing air into the intake, it's getting pushed out. I don't believe that cat is blocked, air is getting pushed out the back. I have no clue what wrong with it. Any help or suggestions will me much appreciated.
Thanks and God Bless.
