New fog lights + demon eyes!

I have always been jealous of the comp package fogs, and at work we recently swapped out some small projectors in an rx7 project for bigger ones and the ones we took out seem to be the perfect size to make fogs out of. So I cut into my fake vent things and started to mount them up. Then I decided to make what we call demon eyes at work to match the red in my headlights. I think they turned out pretty nice, so here are a few pics and I have a video coming soon. Sorry the car is a little dirty since its winter.
Everything turned off

Sorry if this is in the wrong section..
Well me and some people on a local 3/S forum I'm on are gonna be attending M4T which is a car show which asks for a toy donation to enter up in Woodland hills. Its kinda cool as they have a bunch of different cars to check out, some raffles, etc. Its really more to benefit children who wouldn't be able to afford toys and such. Thought I'd post up and see if anyone wanted to roll out..
You can find more info at : www.motor4toys.com

So I'm shopping, casually, for a new car. Im looking for some advice. I'm interested in a sporty, but affordable used car that i can easily tune. I'm leaning toward the tuner import sort of style, and was curious what people think as far as what a good beginning vehicle would be. Im looking to spend around 5-8 thousand total.
