I have a 2004 GLX Triptronic - and live in New Hampshire - We do not -yet- have to wear a seatbelt. I know Seatbelts saves lives, so let's put that to rest. How does one disable the FASTEN SEATBELT chime - many time (in my job) I must relocate my car - So the chime is annoying, when I do this.

wipers adjustment

Hello,
98 Passat v6
I recently changed the wipers linkage and now I have a problem to adjust the wipers. When I turn on the wipers first they go down a bit, hit the bottom of the windshield and then they go up. At the next stroke they go to far down hitting the bottom of the windshield all the time. My question is why they go down at the first stroke. Before the change, they went up right after I turned the switch on. Did I connect something wrong? I commute every day to work about 100 km and it makes me tired to listen to the noise while they hitting the plastic weather strip at the bottom of the windshield.
Please advise and thank you.
