i have recently purchased a used intrepid 1998. One headlight seems to be brighter and shines farther up the road than the other one. Can the headlights be adjusted horizontally and/or vertically and how do I adjust them? I looked under the hood and it looks like there is a lot of stuff that needs to be removed just to get to the bulbs.:runaround:

94 Intredpid runs for a while then dies

I have a 94 Intrepid with about 60,000 original miles. Over the past year it has gradually gotten worse. I can drive it fine one minute and then all of sudden out of the blue it dies, sometimes it will crank back, sometimes it won't for a bit. If it does crank back there is no guarantee it will stay cranked. We just never know. I have had a local rip off shop put it on their computer for diagnosis and they claim they can't find it. Of course that was after 6,000 dollars for other repairs. (I know, more than the car is worth but it wasn't me paying it, it was the previous owner).

I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, and cam sensor and still have the issue.

No codes come up what so ever. I have read all the threads and see a lot of the same issue, but different answers on most of them.

If you can help me with this problem I would be most grateful otherwise I feel I will have to junk this car.

Hate to do that because everything else is immaculate.

thanks,
Dillon

Engine swap problems .

Here is the story: I have a 99 Intrepid 2.7 te engine was running and I was in it when the crankshaft bearings turned and the connecting rod cracked in half. It made wholes in the engine and it was dead. I purchased a 2004 Intrepid with 63000 km on it . I took out the 99 and put the 2004 engine in the intreid.
I could not get spark from the coil to the plugs.

I went to the lybrary and foud out that the flex plate from a 2004 does not fit on the 1999.

I changed the flex plate and now I have spark on 2 cylinders and power on the there 4 with no spark.

I believe that I put the flex plate properly . What is my problem?

I was not able to find timing info for the flex plate . does anybody know it

Thank You upfront to all that reply
