2003 Concorde 3.5 HO lifter noise and skip

Recently I have been having a problem with my Concorde Limited. If it sits for more than 1 day without running, when I start it, there is a pretty loud lifter noise. The engine also skips until the lifter quiets down and then it runs ok once it gets oil. I've never seen a lifter totally collapse like this .It seems like only one cylinder and has only started since it got really cold here in the Northeast. I tried to look up the parts online but can't see that these engines even have hydraulic lifters. Can anyone advise me on this?? Any idea of the lifter cost each?? Can one be isolated or will we have to replace all of them ?? The engine is a VIN G and has about 117K on it. I just had the timing belt and water pump, as well as the idler pulleys done. The car runs Pennzoil Platinum synthetic. Thanks.

Tranny squeal

1999 Concorde 3.2 auto trans. Have squeal in the mornings. Now that its winter It is louder and stays with the car for about 10 miles and then goes away. Summer u really cant hear it. Replaced Belts,,idler pulley's and flushed tranny, and they put in an additive. Squeal is still there. up on the hoist u can tell its coming from trans and not engine area. Is there anything to put in trans to quite the noise? I find it shifts great still. Only problem is its a little slow in getting in reverse. BUT if I warm it up for 5 minutes before I move,I have no problem. The noise is irrating and I am sure the neighbors do not like it and the people on the streets and fwys till it warms up. Any help would be appreciated........

99 LXI Oil Cooler Line Leak

Any ideas on how difficult it is to replace an Engine Oil Cooler Line on a 99 Concorde LXi? Mine has a split right at where the rubber line meets the metal connector. Or is there a way to repair it that will hold up for daily driving?
