95 Stalls, cuts out.

I have a stick shift Prism, 90Kmi, that cuts out at 2500RPM and seemingly again at 3500RPM. :runaround:
Idles fine and has great power up to that RPM. It really doesn't stall. I just have to back off a bit and
wait for the RPM to go back down and it fires back up again.

I changed plugs.
I was guessing the distributor assembly next but none were of that type at the JYard.:crying:

Any Ideas?

Tks..

2000 prizm cam sensor code 340 coming back over and over.

I found after check engine light on, that 340 code is ""on"" meaning cam sensor malfuction, so I replace it with a aftermarket cam sensor, again the code came back, and of course hard to start the car and por peformance when acelarating the car from 0 to 20mph so I went back to the autoparts place to blame a bad sensor, they gave me another sensor, and this time I check the ohms on this one and is on the range specified, so I blame no continuity in the harnes from sensor plug to computer so I did that entretaining job to check it from the ecu plugs to the sensor plug(real pain in the neck) but I did it, so fantastic continuity in both wires, (:runaround:) really upset, sensor is good, continuity in the wires is great, what is this about....? can you throw me a bone pls..........! The problem is the car is really hard to start, takes me like 3 or 4 times to crank it then finally starts, then when acelerating from 0 to 20mph is like doesn't respond, then afeter 20mph goes better, Help pls.....!
