Sadly, I cannot offer any help.
I don't have experience with lock cylinders.
The closest I have come is replacing a ignition switch on a '85 Chrysler.....but that did not involve anything with the lock cylinder other than disconnecting the lever between the 2.
On the Windstar, I tried to show some detail in my pictures from my replacement of the "multi-switch"
Maybe a locksmith could offer some help?
The part you circled looks like some sort of key.....that would rest in a notch to hold it in place.

    Wiswind,

I have followed many of your threads and comments regarding Windstars. I have a 2001 which has been a nightmare for maintenance but thanks to your guidance I managed many a repair for which my pocket book appreciates you. At this time my son is working on his ignition cylinder lock and I am at my wits end trying to help him so I posted a thread on the forum under the Mazda section (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...24#post7030324). If you have time could you review it and provide feedback?

Any and all assistance is appreciated but if you don't have the time I understand. Thank you in advance for your consideration and again for all of your assistance on the Windstars.
