would an h22 head bolt to an h23 block and would it help power?
just wondering

you should ask this in the prelude forum, or look there...
there's people that have done it successfully...

but it's not worth it.

get the h22. or get the h23. either way you'll be happy... the h23 is better to turbo, so that's a good starting point.

it's worth it if you have an H23 installed in your car, as it's cheaper just to bolt the head, rewire, pop in a P13 ecu, and call it a day.

but to source for parts separately, it's easier just to buy a whole H22... unless you got some hookups on an H23 block.

i have an H23 VTEC in my Prelude. works great, very close to stock H22 power even with my compression lowered over 1.2 points.

do a search. this topic is a dead horse being molested.
