not sure if the 2000 and 2003 are exactly the same, but most likely. press the button on the end of the turn signal stalk until the time is
displayed at the bottom of the inst. cluster, then turn the rod that sticks out of the inst cluster. Hope that helps! ask about anything else you want to know, be happy to help if I can.

The previous suggestion is right. The clock in the instrument panel and the one in the radio are one and the same. When you adjust the one in your instrument panel, the one in the radio is adjusted automatically. One thing that you want to make sure that you have is the code for your radio. If you ever disconnect the battery in your car, you will need this code to reset the radio and unlock it.

Good luck!!

I'm also willing to answer other questions that you may have in the future.

thank you so much! ok, now... does the radion indeed have a seperate manual? or will it come in the car manual?

and back to the radio... to the right of the main display window is a smaller window. it says "rds* pty"

what is that all about? LOL... if i press the button on the pty side, the display says "none". if i press the rds side, the asterisk goes away.

anyone know? and where do i get the code for the radio?

OK, there is no code on these radios. I was confused with my VW Jetta. There is a RADIOPASS document that has some information requied in the event that your radio is stolen. There is a separate manual for the radio though.

- RDS stands for Radio Data System. In areas where it is available, some station information will be displayed if RDS is selected.

- PTY stands for Type of Program. Again, it refers to stations that can broadcast text information as part of their regular programming and can be displayed by the radio.

- RND stands for Random Play. It only shows when you are playing CDs.

Hope this helps!

R/T stands for Radio/Telephone. Although I don't remember exactly what it does, I do remember that it has no use with out a phone.

Hi!

That is called the "clown nose". Don't worry, you will get used to it, I don't even see it any more. That is the alarm indicator. If you have the alarm, it will blink when the alarm is activated. The plastic box in the middle of the roof panel is the motion sensor for the alarm.

On a side note, I just got an M Sport Steering Wheel installed in my 330 Ci last Friday and it is like having a new car. It is the same steering wheel that comes in the M3. It was not cheap, but I'm really enjoying it.
