10 pictures of some winter projects

Hello every one i thought since it has been such a beautiful day here i would get some pictures of some cars i have rebuilt over the winter and some first time builds a few of these are going to be in a model car show i entered this month. i will follow this post up with a reply of what has been done to each kit shortly.

Ok here is the run down of the kits.

the lexus is a rebuild of a aoshima trd altezza super street sxe10 painted silver and uses a wing from the aoshima wing set but i removed the lower part to make it sit lower the the truck lid and i lowered the car front and rear and used a set of aoshima wheel and tyre but i don't remember what style they are. i also tinted the windows using auto tint.

fujimi nissan rps13 180 sx type x which is painted with what is my first and only custom made paint i used a black primerand the gloss coat is just that a gloss coat with sparkles added to it and a few drops of purple paint to give a very subtle hint of color the rest is box stock.

tamiya honda s-mx lowdown rebuild which is painted with a color i can'r remember but it's the name of a spice a real hot spice. the decals are custom made along with decals that are for ken style i also used a set of ken style gel ballards for the whells and tyres mostly stock build. but i did make a rear plate which has 4 woofers and a chrome amp.

fujimi toyota mr-s fun sports package really a stock build but i used the mirage paint which shifts from green to purple and i used almost the whole can and got a real deep color shift. the seats are painted brass then dull coated this was also my first time using tamiya polishing compound and it turned out real nice and shiney.

lastly

a combo of a tamiya honda civic ek-9 type r and an fujimi honda civic ek-9 type r from the initial d series really not a stock build but uses alot of stock parts(does that make sense?) any ways i started buy removing the side molding and door handles. then i replaced the steering wheel with a more sporty one and placed a boost gauge on it. in the back i placed a scratch built nx express bottle with a braided fuel line. the decals are custom made. and the paint is a deep med blue from dupli color and clear top coat.

Mean_B16 i wish i could "zoom" but i can't my camera has a fixed lens so no zooming for me and if i try to get closer it all gets blurry.
