Front end shake

I have a 2000 Chevy Venture. Almost 200k miles. The front end will shake during a left turn (and not during a right turn) while speeding up. Doesn't seem to do it if I just coast through the turn. It will also shake at higher speeds (40-60mph) but only during acceleration. At 60-75mph it is only slightly noticeable, could be confused with rough road surface.

Any ideas where I should look? Maybe motor mounts? Or does this sound like an alignment or bearing issue?

Check the inner bearings on the left sidedrive shaft

The inner bearing? On the inside of the wheel or up near the tranny? Doesn't the front wheels have an integral bearing hub....or something like that? I remember having to spend something like $250 to replace a bearing one time....couldn't replace just the bearing?

I would say near the tranny but either could cause that problem.

i had this happen with my 2000 venbture i replaced the lower ball joint which was really bad helped but didnt stop it then i replaced the springs because they needed it anyway while i had them i out i pulled the axle out and the cv joint just fell apart replaced it and i now longer have the problem

My 98 venture was doing this when accelerating while turning. I knew the tires needed replacing so balancing would be taken care of from that. I also found both outer tie rod ends were shot. And I have replaced them both now 3 times in the 6 years we've owned it. After the new tie rod ends and balanced tires the shaking was cured.
