I have a 2000 v6 3.8 Auto Camaro silver all stock. Body is still in great shape. Has 125,000 miles on her. She was overheating (continuing problem) and the mechanic just called. Basically I need a new motor as water/ coolent is mixing with everything. Had this car since high School. Can't say I'm too attached to it but I would be nice to have a secondary car w/ four seats (I bought a used 2008 350z). Was hoping the Camaro would pan out but I guess not.
So what should I do? Leaning towards selling the car but not sure what I should price it at. If I keep her I do have a place to store it but I can't see myself putting the money into a new engine for the foreseeable future.
It sucks as it was my car for a good part of my life but maybe someone else can put a monster engine in her and take her on a second life drive. :)

I know what you mean about being attached to your car. I had a 98 v6 and I loved that car. I had looked into the whole swapping motors and found there is a lot to change if you put a bigger engin in. First off I dont know where you live but where i'm from we have a mag called Auto Trader, I would start there. Parting it out might get you more money than selling it outright.

sounds like a head gasket gone , shouldn't need a new engine unless it ran to long like that
