98 Tahoe with 160,000 miles

I just had Lubro Moly 5W-30 synthetic oil put in my tahoe. Several people have told me since then that you should not use synthetic oil in high milage cars and trucks. What is your opinion?

if your engine is running correctly there is no concern...did you change your oil every 3,ooomi and use high quality oil filters ? if so, no problem..


with synthetic use a wix or pure one purolator oil filter..

NO FRAMS ...never heard of lubro moly !

with your mileage why synthetic now ? this is backwards !
